Every sale in our 400+ shops helps fund specialist palliative and end-of-life care. For over 70 years, we've supported people when it matters most - and we're looking for a Shop Manager to help us continue that work.

You'll lead your team, inspire your community and drive income for our vital services, while championing creative ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

We value our people and offer a great work-life balance: 1 in 2 weekends, shifts from 8.45am, most shops finishing by 5.15pm, and Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day off.

You'll be responsible for…

• Driving sales, income and performance against targets.
• Leading and motivating your team to deliver excellent customer and donor service.
• Building strong community relationships to generate quality donated stock.
• Recruiting, training and retaining a committed volunteer team.
• Maintaining high standards of merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety.
• Managing stock and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh, seasonal and well presented.
• Championing the Sue Ryder brand, in-store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives.
