maintenance, inspections, and repairs to hotel plant, equipment, and building systems.· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest-related engineering issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.· Monitor and maintain the safe and efficient operation of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.· Assist in identifying and resolving faults, ensuring all equipment remains compliant with health and safety standards.· Support emergency procedures, including fire alarm responses and lift entrapment situations in line with hotel procedures.· Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain the hotel's high standards and reduce equipment downtime.· Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and support operational needs.· Maintain accurate maintenance records and report any significant issues or repair requirements to the Engineering management team.About youWe are looking for a proactive and reliable individual with
previous engineering, maintenance, or building services experience, ideally gained within a hotel, hospitality, or similar customer-focused environment. You will have a strong understanding of health and safety practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to respond calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting. A hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences are essential.
