Full Job Description

As a SHE Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our Maple Lodge project through its development, pre-construction, mobilisation and delivery phases. You'll provide professional Safety, Health and Wellbeing guidance to operational and project teams, with a key focus on reviewing and assuring construction health and safety documentation. Working collaboratively with project teams, designers, operational managers, subcontractors and stakeholders, you'll help ensure compliance with legal requirements and promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across the project. What will you be responsible for? As a SHE Advisor, you'll be working within the SHE team, supporting them in achieving the highest standards of Safety, Health and Environment performance. Your day to day will include:

  • Reviewing and assuring Pre-Construction Information, Construction Phase Plans, risk assessments, method statements and other project SHE documentation
  • Providing practical SHE advice and support to project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders throughout all project phases
  • Conducting site inspections, assurance activities and safety conversations to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Supporting incident investigations and ensuring effective implementation of corrective actions
  • Promoting positive behaviours and strengthening the project's safety culture through engagement, coaching and professional guidance

    You hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) along with a CSCS card and membership of a relevant professional body such as IOSH
  • You have experience working within a Safety, Health and Wellbeing role in construction, infrastructure, utilities or a related industry
  • You have experience reviewing construction health and safety documentation including Pre-Construction Information, Construction Phase Plans, and Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • You possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence behaviours positively at all levels
  • You hold a Full driving licence
