Full Job Description
Enterprise Business Services (EBS) consists of LMUK IT Services, Payroll, ESH, HR and Finance functions. With employees located throughout the UK, EBS provides UK wide support to the LMUK business areas., We are looking for a SharePoint Developer to support the design, development, and implementation of business solutions across our organisation. This role involves interpreting business requirements and translating them into effective, user-friendly SharePoint solutions, while working collaboratively within a dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will primarily work with SharePoint 2013 but familiarity with more recent SharePoint versions (e.g. SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365) is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities
- Translate written and verbal requirements into high-level designs and functional SharePoint solutions.
- Develop and implement business solutions using out-of-the-box SharePoint functionality and custom scripting where necessary.
- Provide input and ideas to help shape innovative solutions that align with business needs.
- Support the full project life-cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate and manage multiple tasks or small projects simultaneously
Proven experience developing and supporting SharePoint 2013 solutions, with a strong understanding of lists, libraries, workflows, and permissions. - Ability to build solutions using out-of-the-box SharePoint functionality.
- Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and responsive frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
- Experience building solutions compatible across multiple platforms/devices.
- Comfortable using REST APIs, web services, and interacting with external data sources.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and apply best practices.
- Desirable (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with more recent SharePoint platforms (e.g., SharePoint Online, SharePoint Modern UI).
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Familiarity with Visual Studio and programming in C#, ASP.NET, or VB.NET.
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.
