Full Job Description
Settlement Agreement Lawyer
Employment Solicitor - Settlement Agreements (Fully Remote, Full or Part Time)
Settlement-Advice.com (part of RGF Lawyers) is one of the UK's fastest-growing settlement agreement practices. We act for employees across the country, and demand is outstripping our capacity. We're looking for a solicitor to join us in an employed role with a steady, guaranteed flow of settlement agreement work.
The role is pure SA work for now: reviewing agreements, advising clients, negotiating amendments and fee contributions with employers, and getting deals signed quickly and properly. In time there's scope to move into broader contentious employment work as the wider practice grows.
This is a modern, busy practice. We've invested heavily in tech that strips out the admin, so your day is spent doing the part that actually needs a lawyer: advising clients and exercising judgement. If you like the idea of technology doing the grunt work while you do the law, you'll enjoy it here. If you'd rather spend two hours manually redlining a boilerplate confidentiality clause, you won't.
What we're looking for
- Solicitor admitted in England and Wales, minimum 3+ years PQE
- Solid, hands-on settlement agreement experience: you'll know your way around PILONs, PENP, restrictive covenants and reaffirmation letters without reaching for a textbook
- Comfortable with volume: our systems make it possible to advise multiple clients a day without drowning in paperwork
- Excellent client care: our clients are individuals, often at a difficult point in their careers, and they need clear, commercial advice delivered kindly and fast
- Contributor: If we're not doing something right, tell us so we can get better.
What we offer
- Fully remote. No office. No dress code. Full time or part time - whatever suits you and your circumstances best
- Flexible working hours (within reason and subject to client needs)
- A consistent, quality pipeline of work with zero business development required
- A genuinely tech-forward firm with none of the traditional law firm baggage
If this sounds like you, apply with your CV or get in touch for a confidential conversation.
