Setting out for ground floor slab, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications
Overseeing and setting out drainage systems, including levels, gradients, and alignment
Supporting and coordinating enabling works, including site preparation and initial infrastructure
Setting out and monitoring external works, such as roads, kerbing, and landscaping elements
Interpreting and working from technical drawings and site plans
Carrying out regular quality checks and maintaining accurate site records
Liaising with site managers, subcontractors, and survey teams to ensure smooth project delivery

Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on commercial construction projects
Strong knowledge of drainage, slabs, and external works
Proficiency with surveying equipment (e.g. total stations, GPS)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
