Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Full-time CAMHS Practitioner to join the SET-CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA) Team. The SET CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA) team is the front door into specialist children and young peoples mental health services across South Essex. The service is responsible for the screening, triaging and referring into SET CAMHS pathways or providing signposting recommendations. Ensuring that children, young people and families receive appropriate support. Working within the Thrive model, the SPA team promotes a needs-led and collaborative approach, working closely with community SET CAMHS teams and partner agencies across health, education, social care and the voluntary sector. The aim is to ensure safe, effective and timely decision-making, and to support positive outcomes for young people and their families., Job Overview This role involves gathering and reviewing referral information, undertaking clinical screening, conducting triage calls and risk assessing. Contributing to robust formulation and decision-making regarding the most appropriate care pathway. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring consistency, quality and safety in the referral and allocation process. The SPA team offers a supportive environment with excellent opportunities for professional development.
