Full Job Description

  • Plan and deliver high quality learner-centred teaching, learning and assessment which meets learners' needs, especially additional support needs and stretch and challenge
  • Demonstrate a successful track record of impactful ESOL delivery
  • Provide advice guidance and support to ensure that learners achieve their long-term goals
  • Contribute to the development of schemes of work and teaching materials
  • Share and promote good practice
  • Contribute to internal quality assurance of accreditation

    Birmingham Adult Education Service (BAES) is looking for experienced teachers of ESOL from Pre-Entry to Level 1 for the academic year 26/27 to ensure that ESOL learners have the best possible experience, achieve the best outcomes and are well prepared for their next steps.

    Work with highly motivated adult learners with high levels of respect. BAES was graded outstanding by Ofsted for Learner Behaviour and Attitudes in June 2024.
