Full Job Description

If you would like to join TeamRAD - delivering invaluable one-to-one and group support to deaf people, in their first language,
usually British Sign Language (BSL) or via specialist communication systems like Makaton, please get in touch! Our Independent
Living team provides person-centred support so that deaf and deafblind people (including those who have additional support needs,
e.g., a learning disability or mental health challenge) can develop the skills needed to live independently

British Sign Language (BSL) Level 1 is essential for this role, Level 2 is desirable. Where required we will offer this training, Disability Confident

Permanent part-time (16 hours per week). Salary - £23,809.50 (full-time equivalent)

The sessional opportunity is flexible work and colleagues can choose support sessions from those offered. Many sessional
colleagues develop their skills and gain valuable experience before eventually becoming permanent (when vacancies arise).
Sessional colleagues are not permanent employees. There is no guarantee of work and days/hours can vary depending on the needs of
the charity.
