Full Job Description
Are you a Service user or Carer of Oxleas who would like a role in the staff recruitment process? We are seeking to find Oxleas service users and carers to participate in job selection panels for staff for all physical and mental health directorates. This includes services for children, adults and older adults in Bexley, Bromley & Greenwich. Oxleas believes that to recruit the right staff it will benefit from having service users/carers on the interview panel. To undertake this role you will need express an interest and undergo an informal interview process if successful you will be required to attend and complete a half day of training which will be provided by Oxleas staff. You will also need to have the right to work in the UK and be prepared to undergo all recruitment checks including a DBS. Service users and carers will be paid for participating on the interview panels (London Living Wage/hr), but not the training. We will also cover your travel expenses and lunch.,
- Join other staff in the selection process ( interview or group discussion).
- Work as part of the interview panel to devise appropriate questions, and answers
- Participate in the shortlisting process if requested
- Follow and participate in the recruitment process
- Ask questions to candidates
- Work as a member of the interview panel to come to a joint decision about appointments
