Service Technician

Role Purpose:To repair and maintain all equipment associated with Specialist Vegetable machinery (but not limited to) that is sold by the company's sales departments.
Essential Skills/Experience:Proven experience within the agricultural industry would be advantageousAbility to diagnose faults and successfully carry out repairs which may be chargeable or warrantableService, maintain and diagnose faults on in-field agricultural machinery and crop production equipment, including products from manufacturers such as Ecorobotix, Tumoba, Verhoest and Samon, among othersInstallation, commissioning and modification of new and existing in-field equipment, including fabrication and repairs where requiredComplete job cards in full relating to work undertaken, including machine details, time, mileage and any accompanying documentationLiaise professionally with customers and suppliers as requiredAbility to work independently using own initiative, as well as part of a teamAbility to adhere to health and safety practices and procedures at all timesMaintain a good general level of health and fitnessSelf-motivated with a proactive approach to workGood general

appearanceCompetent in the use of computers and digital service toolsExcellent customer service skills, as this is a customer-facing roleFull valid driving licence with no more than 3 points
