Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the delivery of key transformation projects within the trusts Clinical Support Services team. The role will play a key role in supporting the progression of transformational opportunities across the service. The post holder will lead projects, develop excellent relationships with key stakeholders and support the development and implementation of changes., To provide leadership to allocated projects and services within sphere of responsibility.
To be responsible for the planning and delivery of services in conjunction with the Directorate Management Team.
To be a key member of the operational management team, taking full responsibility for actions and for keeping other team members fully informed at all times.
To provide programme and/or project management support to complex redesign programmes.
To lead and support quality improvement and transformation within operational services by developing, structuring and ensuring delivery of programmes of work and projects.
To be responsible for a person-centred service that is responsive, flexible and adaptable.
To work closely with key stakeholders including specialty teams, clinicians and support services to develop services and deliver project plans.
To embed quality improvement methodology within the Directorate.
To provide support to Operational Managers as required.
To attend meetings as required and to deputise for the Operational Teams as appropriate.
To take a proactive role in ensuring systems are in place to support organisational and cultural change initiatives.
To support delivery of the transformation agenda, delivering improvements to Directorate performance and allocation of project resource.
This role would be ideal for an individual with an understanding of service/quality improvement methodology and delivering projects within a healthcare setting. Excellent communication, well developed analytical and organisational skills will be required together with a methodical approach to delivery of key objectives and the ability to engage and motivate others.
