Are you a qualified Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse with a passion for mental health care? We're looking for compassionate professionals to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service - Arms ( At Risk mental State service). Based inStevenage, covering a specified area in North and South East Hertfordshire, this is a rewarding opportunity to support people at risk of experiencing psychosis for the first time, delivering personalised and recovery-focused care. You'll hold a caseload and work closely with the wider MDT, helping you build strong relationships and develop your leadership and delegation skills. • an active member of a skilled multi-disciplinary team
• working together with your colleagues to provide our Arms service in our East & North Hertfordshire team.

• travelling less and work out in the community, both in people's homes and our local hub buildings
You will be passionate in the delivery of recovery based and collaborative approaches to care planning, working flexibly and creatively with people in order to achieve their individual goals.


• Education to degree level or Academic qualifications equivalent (Diploma/Degree in in Mental Health Nursing /Social Work / Occupational Therapy)
• Registration with NMC/ HCPC
Desirable criteria
• Advance Training in mental health
• Approved Mental Health Professional/Best Interest Assessment training, postregistration experience including solid Band 5 experience
• Experience of working in acute mental health inpatient/day care services
• Experience of working in situations of crisis and emotionally demanding environments
• Experience and knowledge of safeguarding process; dealing with family breakdown; serious mental ill health and risk of selfharm.
• Experience of partnership working with service users and carers, demonstrating dignity and respect

• Excellent ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders including service users and carers, other professional colleagues, members of other organisations and local communities, verbally and in writing

The core functions are to provide assessment, care planning and care co- ordination, including social care assessments, within a framework of recovery which embraces each individual's right to choice and control. You may be responsible for supervision, development and teaching of junior staff and/or students as delegated by the team manager.
