Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to support the operational leadership of Surgical Services. Working closely with senior managers and clinical teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, efficient services, ensuring performance targets are achieved, and driving service improvements across designated specialties. The post offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic developments while maintaining a strong focus on patient care and operational excellence.,

• Provide day-to-day operational management support across the service.
• Monitor and improve performance against key access and quality standards.
• Support effective use of resources, capacity planning, and service delivery.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient pathways and outcomes.
• Lead and coordinate service improvement initiatives and projects.
• Analyse activity and performance data, producing reports and identifying areas for improvement.
• Respond proactively to operational challenges and support the management of patient flow and waiting lists.
• Contribute to workforce planning, staff engagement, and the implementation of organisational change.
