Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to the pending 2026/2027 national pay award. The final salary will be adjusted accordingly once this has been agreed., We are looking to recruit a Service Manager - Benefits and Financial Assessments to join our Finance and Procurement service on a permanent full-time basis., The Service Manager has responsibility for the Benefits and Financial Assessment teams. On a day-to-day basis, they will be required to manage, control, deliver and continually improve the Benefits Service for Ceredigion ensuring customers receive the correct level of financial assistance and advice. To also provide clear and effective leadership ensuring that the vision of a cost effective, qualitative, responsive, accessible service is achieved and promote a culture that embraces and achieves both corporate and section objectives., We welcome applications from non-Welsh speakers. We are looking to recruit an individual with a minimum of 5 years Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction Scheme experience of which 3 years should include management and supervision of staff. The ideal candidate will also have a knowledge of Financial Assessments for Residential and Non-Residential Care.
