Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Service Manager to join our Land Rover dealership in Hereford. This is a full-time position, with working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced Service Advisor or Workshop Manager who is ready to take the next step into a senior management role. Reporting directly to the Aftersales Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the department's performance and driving continuous improvement.

The role offers a basic of up to £40,000 with an attractive On-Target Earnings of £50,000, along with the use of a company car.

Role and Responsibilities

+ To ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the Service department
+ To maximise departmental performance in line with market potentials through the sale of labour, parts and accessories
+ To ensure that all manufacturers policies and procedure are adhered
+ Planning, forecasting and delivering sales targets
+ Managing and development of the team
+ Growing Workshop utilisation and efficiency
+ Exceeding Customer satisfaction
+ Managing the smooth running and day to day activity of the Service Department

+ This role would ideally suit someone who has previously worked as a Senior Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager or Workshop Manager.

+ A well-presented individual with a desire, character and attitude to succeed.
+ The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers.
+ Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
