Service Leader

Heathfield Lodge is a 16 bed residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and dementia. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including bingo, beach days, shopping and music therapy, helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.

About the Role

Our Service Leaders are caring and supportive people. We would not be the first to say it either. Our Service Leader work both days and night shifts Care experience is essential, and we can work with over 18's.

You'll be a leader of one of our teams, inspiring them to be the best they can be.

You'll manage the service when the manager is away, creating a culture that allows for learning and fun.

You'll help the people we support to develop life skills, make choices and reach their potential for independence. Help them to feel included in the community.

Check people are getting involved and enjoying their activity plans.

Communicate in a clear and suitable way.

Organise and coordinate the assessment of care plans to make sure they meet the needs of the people we support.

Organise the team so that tasks are completed. Supervising them formally when asked by your manager.

Solve problems and delegate tasks, so we run our service effectively.

You'll process finances and manage medication orders.

Work with your manager if there are any challenges for cover, attendance, or conduct
