Service Lead Podiatrist - Ceredigion / Clinical Governance Lead

We are looking for a Service Lead Podiatrist - Ceredigion/Clinical Governance Lead to lead the delivery of all aspects of Clinical Governance across the Health Board for Podiatry and also ensure procedures are in place that support clinical practice, audit and research on a 3-county basis., Be responsible for service planning and development within podiatry in Ceredigion, and the overall planning for clinical governancewithin the 3 counties Health Board wide. Practise as an autonomous clinician within the vascular/diabetic fields, independently managing a highly complex and specialist caseload. Ensure service development is grounded in robust evidence, challenging outdated or non-evidence-based practices. This requires the ability to critically appraise information and translate findings into current clinical practice. Undertake advanced assessment and treatment interventions that may include, independent prescribing, injection therapy, interpretation of radiology, haematology and biochemical investigations.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
