Full Job Description
The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions within the ServiceNow Platform team. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient ServiceNow solutions. The ServiceNow Developer/Architect will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of developers, ensuring high-quality and consistent delivery of ServiceNow solutions. What you'll do: As a Service Automation Developer you will provide a wide range of activities which include:-
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring that ServiceNow solutions align with Bupa's goals and objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, reviewing code, and ensuring adherence to coding best practices and development standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using ServiceNow, and drive the implementation of these enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Conduct system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and reliability of ServiceNow applications.
- Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and industry best practices, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Act as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow, providing guidance and support to stakeholders, including training and knowledge transfer.
- Undertake demonstrations and presentations and prepare reports as required.
Certification in either ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified System Administrator (CSA) are Essential - Experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow ITSM modules, such as Incident Management, Problem Management, and Service Level Management.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Service Portal
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a track record of successfully delivering ServiceNow solutions in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, and CMDB.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), UI customization, and workflow configuration.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP web services, MID Servers, and APIs.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation within ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
