Full Job Description
Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a Sensory Lab Technician to join our Research, Development & Quality team, based in Stokesley.
What you'll be responsible for:
Supporting the upkeep of our Sensory laboratory, you will demonstrate a relentless focus on sensory and food applications by adhering to good safety and housekeeping practices, specifications, standards and best practices.
Your primary duties will involve organising product preparation which will then be used for internal sensory testing. This will involve preparing samples which ensure the validity and repeatability of our sensory research, complying with set specifications, whilst being responsible for operating various appliances and equipment within the sensory lab., 2nd Stage - in-person interview at our offices in Stokesley with key stakeholders from our Sensory & Quality team
Ideally present familiarity with sensory evaluation/laboratory research testing protocols
- Background in food preparation, serving, assessment and adhering stricting to standard operating procedures
- Excellen time management and communication skills
- Accurate attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Proficiency with IT with hands on knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
