Senior Wi-Fi Network Engineer

The position is a site-based Network Engineering role in one of the DXC regional delivery centres near Kent, Expectation is the successful candidate will cover project delivery on UK Secure accounts., Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of Aruba Wi-Fi solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Network Optimization: Continuously optimize existing wireless networks for performance and efficiency. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level support for escalated network issues, including root cause analysis and resolution. Integration with ClearPass: Deploy and integrate Aruba ClearPass for network access control, policy enforcement, and guest access management. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive network documentation and prepare regular reports on network performance and security posture. Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aruba Wi-Fi Engineer with extensive experience in ClearPass to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of wireless networking technologies, particularly with Aruba Networks solutions.,

• Certifications: Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) or higher certification is preferred.
• Experience: Experience in designing, deploying, and managing Aruba wireless networks, with specific expertise in ClearPass.
• Technical Skills:
+ In-depth knowledge of Aruba wireless controllers, access points, and ClearPass policy manager. + Strong understanding of network protocols and security standards (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, 802.1X, RADIUS). + Experience with Visual RF Ekahau survey and post-deployment surveys. + Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies. + LAN/WAN skills equivalent to CCNA level. + Knowledge of Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls (preferred). + Network Access Control (NAC) expertise (desirable).
• Soft Skills:
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. + Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing network issues. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site deployments and client engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Eligible for or currently possess SC clearance (Mandatory).
