Senior Water Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Water Engineer to deliver high-quality planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across commercial and domestic water systems.

This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with water regulations, health and safety standards, and client governance requirements., We are looking for a technically strong and safety-focused engineer with proven experience in facilities management environments, capable of carrying out complex water hygiene, plumbing, and closed system works while producing accurate reports and certification., Deliver planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on commercial and domestic water systems

Carry out inspections, repairs, testing, fault-finding, and adjustments in line with plumbing regulations and manufacturer guidance

Complete reactive and planned disinfection works, including cold water tank/system and mains disinfection

Perform PPM water hygiene monitoring and inspection tasks using customer CAFM systems

Survey, quote, and deliver remedial works relating to water hygiene and water treatment

Undertake pipework modifications, TMV installations, RPZ valve installation and commissioning, CWST bypassing, and unvented hot water conversions

Carry out closed system works including sampling, dosing, flushing, acid descaling, and inhibitor dosing

Produce detailed reports and issue certification for all completed works, ensuring full compliance

Plumbing qualification to NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or equivalent

Hands-on experience in plumbing or mechanical building services maintenance

Proven experience delivering reactive and planned preventative maintenance in commercial environments

Strong working knowledge of water regulations and their practical application

Experience installing and maintaining unvented hot water systems (calorifiers), including inspection and cleaning

Experience working within a facilities management environment

Ability to produce clear technical reports and certification

Full UK driving licence - mobile role (van and fuel card provided), Disability Confident
