Senior Vitreo-Retinal Fellow - Ophthalmology (Fixed Term)

Applications are invited for a full-time position of a Senior Clinical Fellow with an interest in Vitreo-Retinal. This is a fixed-term post for 12 months. The Ophthalmology Department is purpose built and is based on the BRI site where there is operating theatre and ward provision. The ophthalmology department at Bradford is well equipped with some of the latest technology available including a number of Heidelberg Spectalis OCTs, facilities for OCT angiography, wide filed Optos imaging, Pentacam, retinal laser- Navilas, YAG and SLT laser, B Scan ultrasound, visual field analysers etc, while Electro diagnostic facility is available at the University of Bradford. A hospital wide electronic patient record is complemented by ophthalmology specific EPR -Medisoft. Two dedicated Ophthalmology operating theatres are equipped for all ophthalmic surgical procedures. Leica Proveo microscopes with wide-angle viewing system and 3D heads-up display operating system (Alcon Ngenuity)., Sessions will include:

• Theatre
• Outpatient clinics (including ARC)
• Visiting other units subject to approval by supervising consultant and clinical director
