Full Job Description
We're looking for someone with great people skills, who loves to inspire and delight by providing top-quality experiences and service for visitors, to join us as a Senior Visitor Experience Officer at the North Warwickshire portfolio of properties, Charlecote Park, Baddesley Clinton and Packwood. You'll perform the duty role of Site Lead and will work regular weekends and peak business times. What it's like to work here Reporting to the Visitor Experience Manager, you'll work closely with the Property Operations Manager and Welcome Managers. You'll also work alongside Commercial Managers on coordinating visitor experience, and the property teams in making sure everything runs smoothly within the day to day. What you'll be doing Working as part of the Visitor Experience team working across all three properties, you'll play a lead role in coordination and delivery of all events and programming. The properties are merging as a new portfolio, so you'll join the team right at the start of this exciting journey of transition, helping to develop new ways of working embed team working relationships delivering exceptional experiences to all our visitors. As part of the Visitor Experience team, you'll be focused on achieving the highest standards of presentation and service, helping everything to run smoothly during projects, events and programming delivery, during weekends and busy school holidays and throughout the year. You'll work alongside the Welcome Managers to make sure everyone who visits has everything they need to enjoy their day and have an exceptional experience. You'll need to get stuck in and help wherever you're needed, playing a lead role in keeping the whole property running smoothly, looking its best and delighting our visitors. You'll seek every opportunity to talk to visitors, introducing them to all that makes the North Warwickshire portfolio so special. You'll directly line manage two Visitor Experience Officers, and support in the management of your department volunteers, coordinating your team to ensure the creation of events and programming as well as supporting in successful frontline delivery. When Site Lead, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the property, acting as the main contact point for staff, volunteers, and visitors in case of emergency, enquiry, or complaint. - some experience of line managing people
