The role is a senior-level position accountable for leading and orchestrating accelerated major change programs, particularly focusing on Citi Velocity products today and Citi Direct in the future. This includes critical aspects such as data migration, technical integration, rigorous testing, and seamless client adoption of new or modernized applications. This role is crucial in better managing complex organizational and client-facing changes, ensuring clear segregation and collaboration between product teams and technology delivery disciplines. The Product Manager will act as a key liaison between technology, partner product, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure seamless technical execution, data integrity, and successful integration of strategic application changes, ultimately enhancing client experience and operational efficiency. A seasoned data and digital product manager, adept at leading complex technical programs and change initiatives from inception through successful client adoption, leveraging deep expertise in the technical application lifecycle and data constructs. What you'll do:

  • Lead and product manage major programs (strategic application changes, upgrades, migrations) from inception through to successful client adoption. This includes developing and executing comprehensive product roadmaps, overseeing all technical phases (architecture, data migration, integration, robust testing, cutover, rollbacks), and ensuring strong technical delivery with data integrity.
  • Partner closely with Product Partners and Development Teams to clearly define the DCP (Data and Client Platforms) product roadmap, deliverables, and technical timelines.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate execution risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation. Rigorously ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices throughout the product lifecycle, demonstrating sound ethical judgment and transparently managing control issues to safeguard the firm and its clients.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Product, Sales, and Client Services, as well as external clients. Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (OKR's) for product success, client adoption rates, and overall change effectiveness.
  • Implement effective feedback loops from various teams to continuously improve change management processes, methodologies, and delivery frameworks, ensuring lessons learned are integrated for perpetual optimization.

Significant experience in Product Design/Management and Investor Services
  • Experience in Data, Digital and Innovation.
  • Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role, managing client expectations and facilitating adoption of new systems or processes.
  • Proven ability to manage complex interdependencies between product development and project delivery, clearly differentiating and coordinating efforts.
  • Exceptional leadership presence with a proven ability to influence, motivate, and align diverse, cross-functional stakeholders (including senior leadership, product, technology, and operations) within a complex, matrixed global organization.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, defining the vision for change programs while also overseeing meticulous execution details.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis and proactive issue resolution.
  • Bachelor's/University degree, master's degree preferred.

By Joining Citi, you will become part of a global organisation whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.
