Full Job Description

Working as part of a small team managing the Trust's Policy Management System, External Visits process and associated compliance systems, the post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and coordination service supporting the Trust's policy management and external visit processes.A key part of the role will be reviewing documents uploaded into the document system to ensure they are compliant with local policy and processing them in a timely manner to be available to staff, and where applicable the public.The postholder will work in close collaboration with Care Group Triumvirates to ensure that policies are effectively aligned, embedded, and implemented across services. This will involve contributing to and attending regular meetings, providing guidance and support to promote consistency, compliance, and best practice. The role will also implement policies within their own work area and propose changes to working practices or procedures to support effective policy application and continuous improvement across the Trust., The postholder will act as a key point of contact, communicating with all professional staff, at all levels, across the Trust assisting with system use, document approval processes, external visit coordination, and policy queries; providing clear advice, guidance and support to meet the Trust's requirements. In addition, supporting system cleansing activities to ensure staff have access to up-to-date, accurate documentation, enabling them to deliver a high-quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service. The postholder will also be required to deliver regular training sessions for staff across the Trust, supporting them with the completion of their policies and providing guidance on the effective use of the Policy Management System.
