Senior Therapy Assistant - Stroke & Neuro Rehab

Part time Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant role based at the Rowan Rehab Unit in Sherborne, delivering a range of therapy interventions supported by Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists., The Senior Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a qualified Therapist contributing to assessment and treatment programmes within an episode of care. This will mostly be working with patients with a stroke and neuro diagnosis.

The Senior Therapy Assistant will carry a clinical caseload delegated by a qualified member of staff; in addition, they will work with qualified staff to assist in the management of their caseload. This will include working in a wide variety of settings including on the ward, in patients' homes or in local community.

The post holder will assist in the administration and clerical duties for the team and Department.
