Full Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Technician to join our dynamic FSE Technical Operations team, which strives to provide a sector leading technical support for our students and staff. The purpose of this role is:
- Work as a senior member of a team of technicians providing specialist technical advice, support and assistance across all teaching spaces in the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
- Support the Senior Teaching Specialist in the management, planning, maintenance of equipment, and materials for practical classes.
- In conjunction with the Teaching Technical Specialist and other Senior Technicians, plan and implement strategies to deliver a world class teaching laboratories.
- To ensure that the laboratories are maintained to a clean and tidy work standard in line with H&S guidelines.
