Full Job Description
Flywire is seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner, EMEA to accelerate the teams building our global payments platform and vertical software. Based in London with office based 2-3 times per week, you will own high-impact technical hiring across EMEA, partnering closely with engineering, product, data, security, and business leaders to build exceptional teams in London, Cluj, Romania, Lithuania, Tel Aviv, Israel, and Valencia, Spain. This is a highly consultative contract role for a recruiter who combines rigorous talent craft with market fluency, operational excellence, and an AI-native mindset. You will bring deep technical recruiting expertise, a strong understanding of EMEA talent markets, and ideally experience recruiting within fintech, payments, financial infrastructure, SaaS, or another complex, regulated technology environment. What You Will Do
- Own full-cycle technical recruiting across EMEA, including intake, talent mapping, sourcing, assessment design, candidate management, offer partnership, and closing.
- Partner with leaders to hire exceptional talent across software engineering, platform, data, AI, security, product, and technical leadership roles.
- Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders, translating business priorities into calibrated role profiles, pragmatic hiring plans, and high-quality interview processes.
- Develop market-specific sourcing strategies for London, Cluj, Lithuania, Tel Aviv, and Valencia, informed by local talent supply, competition, compensation dynamics, hiring practices, and candidate motivations.
- Identify and engage talent that can thrive in a global, regulated, high-scale payments environment.
- Leverage modern, compliant AI-enabled recruiting workflows to improve talent research, market intelligence, outreach quality, pipeline management, and operating efficiency, while protecting the human candidate experience.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication, thoughtful preparation, timely feedback, and authentic storytelling about Flywire's mission, culture, and technical challenges.
- Build inclusive, durable pipelines and talent maps for priority technical skill sets and EMEA locations.
- Bring concise, actionable market intelligence to hiring leaders, including talent availability, funnel health, hiring risks, and recommendations before they become blockers.
- Raise the bar on hiring quality by improving interview calibration, structured evaluation, debrief discipline, candidate conversion, and equitable selection practices.
- Maintain accurate candidate data and pipeline hygiene within Flywire's ATS and recruiting tools.
- Use recruiting metrics to identify bottlenecks, improve velocity, and continuously enhance the end-to-end hiring experience.
- Represent Flywire credibly within the EMEA technical talent community and build long-term relationships with candidates and external networks.
5+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience, including substantial ownership of technical hiring within a high-growth technology, SaaS, fintech, payments, or similarly complex environment. - Demonstrated success recruiting across multiple EMEA markets, with experience hiring in the United Kingdom and one or more of Romania, Lithuania, Israel, or Spain strongly preferred.
- Experience recruiting for fintech, payments, banking technology, financial infrastructure, risk, compliance, or other regulated technology environments is highly valued.
- Strong experience recruiting technical talent across software engineering, platform, data, AI, security, product, and technical leadership roles.
- An AI-native recruiting mindset, with practical experience using AI-enabled tools and workflows to elevate recruiting effectiveness while applying sound judgment around privacy, data quality, bias mitigation, and candidate trust.
- Exceptional sourcing, stakeholder management, and assessment skills, with a proven ability to find hard-to-reach technical talent and convert high-caliber candidates.
- Strong consultative presence and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively, influence senior stakeholders, and guide sound hiring decisions through data and market insight.
- High standards for operational excellence, including candidate data, stakeholder communication, pipeline hygiene, and delivery against commitments.
- Comfort using ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, talent intelligence tools, and recruiting analytics to manage and improve hiring outcomes.
- Fluent written and spoken English, strong cross-cultural awareness, and the ability to work effectively across global teams and time zones. Additional European language skills are a plus.
- Comfort entering a fast-moving environment, building trust quickly, and delivering meaningful impact with independence and accountability.
