Full Job Description

As a Senior Technical Operator you'll work in a busy news environment and fulfil a variety of operational roles :

  • Operational Roles: Work in a busy news environment to produce polished news programs.
  • Graphic Design: Demonstrate a track record in graphic design or work in a multi-discipline environment with key graphic design duties.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with Adobe Software (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator).
  • Creative Leadership: Design solutions for a digital set and deliver graphics for TV and online news packages., If you have a passion for making fantastic television and online content, this could be a great opportunity for you!

  • Video Editing: Experience or interest in video editing and on-location filming/editing.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of directing news bulletins and studio lighting/technical management.
  • Automated Gallery System: Training provided for operating this equipment.

    Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
