SENIOR TEACHING ASSISTANT (STA)

Required September 2026

NJC Scale 4 £26,403 - £28,142 per annum pro rata

Part time, term time only

30 hours and 5 minutes per week over 5 days

(actual salary £19,235 - £20,502 based on 46.6 weeks)

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support in classes for students with a Special Education Need or Disability. You need to have good literacy and numeracy skills and a relevant NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification; appropriate experience as a Teaching Assistant would be preferred. This is a part time term time only post fixed term to 16th July 2027 in the first instance dependant on student numbers.
