Senior Systems Engineer

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact systems engineering across a major long-term nuclear programme. Day-to-day, you'll be required to:

• Lead and direct systems engineering activities across complex programmes
• Allocate tasks and overseeing delivery from a team of systems engineers
• Mentor and support junior engineers to grow capability across the team
• Deliver hands-on systems engineering including requirements, architecture, and integration
• Lead and contribute to technical and design reviews with key stakeholders
This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week at either our Bristol or Warrington, Cheshire site. Hybrid working patterns are available.


• Demonstrating strong systems engineering experience across requirements engineering, system architecture, integration, verification and validation
• Leading or mentoring engineers within engineering teams
• Working on complex, multidisciplinary engineering programmes
• Reviewing technical outputs and leading engineering or design reviews
• Applying full lifecycle systems engineering expertise
Qualifications for the Senior Systems Engineer:
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership (desirable)
