Senior Sustainability Manager

We are looking for an experienced sustainability professional to lead our environmental sustainability programme and help deliver our carbon reduction ambitions in line with the NHS Net Zero commitment. This is an exciting opportunity to build on the strong progress already made through our Green Plan while shaping the next phase of our sustainability journey. Working closely with the Director of Sustainability, you will lead strategic projects, influence change across the organisation, and support colleagues to embed sustainable practices into everyday decision-making. You will alsoline manageone or more members of our joint Sustainability Team, helping to foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing culture where innovation and continuous improvement are encouraged. As part of a strategic sustainability partnership between Central London Community Healthcare and West London NHS Trust, you will work across organisational boundaries to deliver shared priorities and maximise environmental impact. • Workforce and system leadership
• Net zero clinical transformation
• Digital transformation
• Travel and transport
• Estates and facilities
• Medicines
• Supply chain and procurement
• Food and nutrition
• Climate adaptation
Working across approximately 90 community sites, you will:
• Lead and deliver sustainability projects that support the Trust's Green Plan and NHS Net Zero ambitions.
• Build strong relationships with clinical and corporate teams to embed sustainable practices across services.
• Coordinate work across departments, ensuring programmes are delivered effectively and aligned with organisational priorities.
• Work closely with colleagues at West London NHS Trust to deliver shared workstreams and ensure a consistent approach across both organisations.
• Provide leadership,guidanceand support to members of the Sustainability Team.
  
  Strong project management,communicationand relationship-building skills are essential. Experience in healthcare is beneficial but not essential, and we welcome applicants who candemonstratetransferable sustainabilityexpertise. The role includes travel between Trust sites, so flexibility is important.
