Senior Surveyor

Join our Strategic Property Management team as a Senior Surveyor and play a key role in the effective management of the Council's extensive land and property estate, delivering a wide range of corporate estate management and landlord and tenant matters., You will be a member of a team responsible for delivering the Council's Property Management Service. You will ensure the efficient management, use and occupation of the estate, working with colleagues to identify opportunities for rationalisation and disposal. Through the proactive management of the Council's land and property assets, you will lead on a range of corporate estate management activities including acquisitions, disposals, valuations, lease renewals, rent reviews, and other landlord and tenant and property management matters.

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a property or relevant subject
• Full Membership of the RICS (Grade 12)
• Evidence of continued professional development
• You will have significant experience in undertaking estate management caseload covering functions such as valuation, acquisitions, disposals, leasing/letting, covenants and compensation.
