Cygnet Group are looking for a confident Senior Support Worker (Nights) with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You'll be working full-time, 42 hours a week, working Nights only, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at The Squirrels. The Squirrels is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities, who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration. Please note: This role is to cover maternity leave, with the potential to become permanent depending on the needs of the service. Residents We Support:
- Adults from the age of 18 years
- Individuals with a diagnosis of autism & learning disability
- May present with behaviours that challenge
- May have communication challenges
- May have associated complex needs
- Are subjected to DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) or Care Orders Your day-to-day…
- Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
- Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
- Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
- Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
