As a Senior Support Worker some of your key responsibilities will in, As a Senior Support Worker at Beech Grove, you will be instrumental in supporting individuals with challenging behavior and high support needs to lead valued lives. You will join a supportive team providing compassionate care for people with Mental Health conditions. Key responsibilities include organizing and overseeing shifts, ensuring service users' wellbeing, supervising staff, and addressing challenges. You will manage activities, administer medication, communicate with families, oversee reports, budgets, and conduct Health & Safety checks. The role demands a positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to find fulfillment in witnessing improvements in service users. Each day is unique, providing engagement and motivation, with a diverse work environment and a rota covering days, nights, and weekends for a balanced team effort. Essential qualifications include experience as a Senior Support Worker, NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, leadership skills, empathy,
flexibility, and a professional approach.
