Were looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to work within our supported living service in Oadby, Leicestershire, delivering and overseeing high-quality support for three individuals with learning disabilities and/or difficulties, autism, and complex needs. In this role, youll support people to live as independently as possible within their own home, promoting choice, control, and inclusion in everyday life. Youll play a key role in ensuring each person receives tailored, person-centred support that reflects their goals, preferences, and aspirations. Reporting to the Registered Manager, youll divide your time between hands-on support and leadership or administrative responsibilities. Youll support the coordination of the service, guide and mentor
staff, and ensure the service runs smoothly, safely, and in line with best practice and, This role combines hands-on support work and leadership responsibilities in a supported living environment. You'll assist individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live independently. The role involves promoting choice, control, and inclusion in everyday life, coordinating services, mentoring staff, and maintaining best practices. Key responsibilities include supporting daily living, communication, emotional regulation, decision-making, and ensuring high-quality, person-centered care. Effective communication, teamwork, and record-keeping are essential. A UK driver's license and a qualification in Health and Social Care with a willingness to progress are required.
