Full Job Description

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading, mentoring, and supporting our team to provide the highest quality of care., As a Senior Support Worker, you will provide both practical and emotional care while also acting as a role model and leader to your colleagues. You will support residents to achieve independence, wellbeing, and personal goals, whilst ensuring the home runs safely and effectively.,

  • Lead by example in delivering person-centred care.
  • Mentor, supervise, and support junior colleagues in their practice.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans.
  • Support with personal care, daily living activities, and household tasks.
  • Encourage and enable residents to engage in hobbies, social activities, and community life.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding standards.
  • Work flexibly across shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins as required.

    Experienced in supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and/or challenging behaviour.
  • Qualified with a Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willing to work towards one).
  • Calm under pressure, resilient, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about making a difference and committed to safeguarding vulnerable adults.
