We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking Senior Support Worker to work alongside our Management Team in leading a team of Support Workers. You will assist in the delivery of ongoing, high quality, recovery based support to adults with mental health support needs living in supported accommodation in our Manchester Personalisation service. You will be responsible for ensuring that the service is compliant and providing the best quality support to our service users. This may include completing rotas, auditing paperwork, supervising support staff and completing quality assurance questionnaires with service users and family. The ideal candidate will be flexible, well organised and able to deliver person centered support whilst offering a recovery based approach to all service users. You will have a professional manner with the ability to supervise and effectively guide a staff team, problem solve and work in partnership with service users, local resources and statutory services to deliver responsive and timely support. Previous experience of working with people with mental health needs is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential. Relevant experience supervising staff and qualifications are desirable as well as NVQ/QCF level 2/3. We will support your continued development as a senior and supervisor and will support you to access accredited courses in relevant areas e.g. mental health, communication approaches.
