Senior Staff Nurse - Haematology and Oncology Day Unit

? What You'll Be Doing Clinical Practice

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients with haematological and oncological conditions
• Administer SACT, immunotherapy, blood and blood products in line with local and national policies
• Assess, monitor, and manage treatment-related side effects, including acute oncological emergencies
• Perform venepuncture, cannulation, central venous access device (CVAD) care (e.g. PICCs, ports)
• Provide holistic assessment, symptom management, and patient education
• Act as a clinical role model, maintaining high standards of infection control and medicines management, people and vulnerable adults.
