Senior Staff Nurse

We are looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to Join our team in ward 201 at The Cancer centre.

Are you passionate about delivering a high standard of care and do you have excellent communication skills , if so this opportunity may be for you.

To apply you must be an experienced nurse who has evidence of looking after haematology and oncology patients. You must be able to work independently and make clear decisions.

We are seeking a Senior Staff Nurse who is dynamic and forward thinking and has 2 years experience of working in a Oncology/ Haematology environment ., You must have a passion for oncology and haematology and be able to demonstrate good knowledge of Oncological and Haematological emergencies.

The possession of the SACT passport is essential.

The ideal candidate will have considerable clinical skills and be enthusiastic to develop their knowledge further to ensure a high standard of care is given to every patient in our care .

You must be familiar with the UKONS triage tool

Good understanding of effective patient flow with other emergency portals within the Trust

You will need to have excellent organisational skills and experience of leadership
