Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Staff Nurse to join Springwood Ward, Woodview. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mental health nurse to develop leadership experience while supporting high-quality, recovery-focused care in an acute inpatient setting.
You will play a key role in clinical leadership on the ward, supporting junior staff, coordinating shifts, and ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care for service users experiencing acute mental health needs., o Provide clinical leadership and act as a role model for best practiceo Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in an acute mental health settingo Support and supervise junior nursing staff and studentso Coordinate shifts and contribute to effective ward managemento Undertake risk assessments and care planningo Completing 5 P formulations to formulate a plan of care and discharge plano Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary teamo Promote safeguarding, safety, and recovery-focused practice, Inpatient wards / units are designed to meet the acute holistic needs of service users/patients and carers, in a recovery focussed environment. This working environment is conducive to staff development and wellbeing. The post holder will support staff members in the assessment, planning and provision of care in line with national and local nursing and health and safety policy. The post holder will exercise professional accountability and responsibility demonstrating use of professional skills, knowledge and expertise in the provision of high quality care. There is an expectation that the post holder will utilise research audit and enquiry to lead improvements in care
