Senior Specialist, Tender Management

Experteer Overview As a Tendering Engineer at Schneider Electric, you will shape offers for strategic UK customers by translating requirements into design schemes and cost estimates. You will collaborate with the BMS team and sales to capture inputs for complex designs and to craft competitive quotes. Your role includes engaging with clients on-site when needed, presenting offers, and supporting negotiations through to contract closure. You'll hand over detailed proposals to operations for delivery, driving growth and customer success in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Pay / Benefits

• Prepare design schemes and solutions based on requirements and client requests Collaborate with engineers and sales in the BMS team to gather inputs for complex schemes Coordinate with sub-contractors for panels quotes and installation quotes Prepare cost estimates and manage internal approvals on costs Engage with clients on-site to understand requirements and build a quote Present offers to clients and participate in mid-bid and post-bid clarification meetings Work with sales to attend negotiations and close out contracts Prepare handover to operations for delivery Tasks Proven experience in a similar tendering/estimating role Background with building management systems Ability to engage with Customers and Account Managers in workshops to draw out technical requirements Strong communication and time management skills Key requirements health and life insurance paid time off parental and care leave flexible work options retirement savings plans learning platforms
