In this role, you'll be the principal technical advisor for organizations across Construction, Real Estate, and Manufacturing industries, crafting scalable cloud architectures and solving complex technical challenges.

As a trusted advisor to our customers, you'll leverage your technical breadth and communication skills to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical solutions. You'll design end-to-end solutions, develop deep expertise in AWS technologies, and champion security best practices in cloud environments. - Provide technical leadership and serve as a trusted advisor to customers, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform, becoming a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications.
- Drive effective feedback gathering from customers and translate that feedback into clear business and technical requirements for product and engineering teams.
- Lead technical engagements for specific implementation projects, create reusable technical content, and share best practices within the AWS Solutions Architect community.

A day in the life
Your day begins with reviewing technical implementation plans for key customers in the Construction and Real Estate sectors. You'll spend time owning technical engagements around specific implementation projects, providing best practices to customers, and developing deep expertise in AWS technologies. As a subject matter expert on security, you'll evaluate architectures, identify issues, and recommend remediations. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with sales teams, lead customer meetings to discuss cloud architecture designs, and capture feedback to influence future product development.

The UK Cross Industries Solution Architect Team works with customers across various industries including Construction, Real Estate, and Manufacturing. We focus on delivering innovative cloud solutions that address unique industry challenges while driving business transformation. Our team combines technical expertise with industry knowledge to help customers leverage the full potential of AWS services. We're passionate about solving complex technical problems and building long-term relationships with our customers, ensuring they achieve their business objectives through effective cloud adoption.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
