Senior Social Worker

At St Mary's hospital there is a strong emphasis on teamwork, as you work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support people Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI), progressive neurological conditions, Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Deaf Mental Health problems. As a Senior Social Worker, you will come from the NHS or private care with experience of managing a complex caseload and being responsible for social care assessments, risk assessments and completing pre-admission for discharging service users. Youll be confident and capable, and able to support and provide guidance to junior members of the team. As a Senior Social Worker you will be: Liaising with the home authorities via a named individual (Health, SSD and Probation) at the point of admission and discharge stage Collaborating with the home
authorities, service users and ensuring that their families are involved in the decision making/care planning process Maintaining electronic/integrated records of work undertaken and completing administrative procedures Contribute to the preparation of reports for Mental Health Review Tribunals, appeals to MH Act Independent Hospital Managers and attending hearings Facilitatin, Join St Mary's Hospital in Warrington as a Senior Social Worker and be part of changing lives for the better as you experience what delivering great healthcare should feel like. contributing to the preparation of reports for reviews and hearings, and facilitating access to welfare and support services.
