Senior Site Engineer - Civil

including earthworks, excavations, grading, drainage, trenching, foundations, and concrete works.Provide technical oversight of subcontractor works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, tolerances, quality standards, and approved methodologies.Review and interpret civil drawings, surveys, specifications, method statements, and technical documentation.Oversee concrete works, including formwork, reinforcement, placement, curing, testing, and inspections.Coordinate civil interfaces with electrical, mechanical, and commissioning teams.Lead and support QA/QC inspections, ITP activities, testing, snagging, and close-out.Monitor subcontractor productivity, daily progress, plant utilisation, and installed quantities against programme requirements.Identify delays, risks, weather impacts, and resource constraints, supporting mitigation and recovery measures.Maintain accurate site records, including inspections, measurements, progress reports, and as-built documentation.Ensure compliance

with HSE requirements, RAMS, excavation safety, lifting operations, temporary works, reinstatement, and handover requirements.Act as a key civil engineering point of contact for the Project and Construction Management teams, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.What you bring to the role:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.5+ years of civil site engineering or construction experience, ideally within renewable energy, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.Previous experience in a Senior Site Engineer, Lead Site Engineer, or equivalent role.Strong technical knowledge of earthworks, drainage, trenching, foundations, concrete works, compaction, and testing procedures.Solid experience with subcontractor management, QA/QC, ITPs, site documentation, and construction quality standards.Strong understanding of Temporary Works, RAMS, excavation safety, and UK construction HSE requirements.Good understanding of construction
