Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our multi-disciplinary Safeguarding Hub. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated practitioner to help drive forward a high quality safeguarding service. As a senior member of the Children's Team you will play a critical role in improving outcomes for children, with a family focused approach.
The post holder will provide specialist advice, support and educative services to colleagues, children and families in this fast-paced, dynamic but safe and supportive environment, that encourages personal and professional development., The post holder will co-ordinate and manage the day to day safeguarding of all children who access our services. They will be proficient in the assessment of risk and harm and contribute to the delivery of effective, timely and proportionate safeguarding responses.
They will provide specialist advice, supervision and support for all staff in all aspects of safeguarding children practice. They will be responsible for identifying risk factors, protective factors and safeguarding need which requires a strong analytical ability, sound professional judgement and excellent communication skills and ensures that decision making is robust, evidenced-based and focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for children and families.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold the right to work in the UK independently, with a visa or immigration status that allows them to fulfil the full duration and type of contract offered. The Trust is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
