Full Job Description
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to provide expert leadership to the Outpatient Haemodialysis Satellite Unit in Cromer, Norfolk. The Centre comprises of 9 stations for completion of up to 27 outpatient haemodialysis treatments a day. It is part of a wider network of Norfolk Renal Services that comprises the inpatient Nephrology ward at NNUH, and the Norfolk and Norwich Kidney Centre at Bowthorpe, Norwich. As post holder you will lead the outpatient haemodialysis service at Cromer Hospital, liaising closely with the Renal Matron and Senior nursing colleagues on Langley ward, the Home Therapy Team, and main outpatient unit at the Norfolk and Norwich Kidney Centre. You will lead a dynamic, unique & forward-thinking nursing team, seeking to enhance their skills, knowledge, and overall experience in the workplace. Which in turn will enable you to provide your patient group with the best possible health care experience., As post holder, your duties will include: To provide a comprehensive service for patients within the specialist area of care in an off site nurse led facility To provide nursing leadership and effectively manage and co-ordinate patient activity, staffing and finance within the haemodialysis outpatient unit to promote high quality health care whilst upholding and influencing professional and Trust values. Function as an ambassador for the Trust in professional and public settings.
