A fantastic senior nursing opportunity at a well-established GP practice in SW London. With a solid team already in place, full regional management support and no on-call requirements, this is a senior role with all the foundations you need to settle in and lead effectively from day one. • Team of 3 vets, 2 RVNs, trainee nurses and reception staff
• Imaging suite and blood diagnostics on site - full GP diagnostic and surgical capability
• OOH covered by a nearby 24-hour hospital - no on-call requirements
• Dedicated regional manager providing ongoing support
• 15 minutes walk from Clapham Junction, 20 minutes from Clapham South (Northern line)
The role
• Lead and oversee the nursing team, driving high and continuously improving standards of care
• Assist vets in theatre and consultations, and utilise Schedule 3 skills as directed
• Manage reception operations and ensure a high standard of client care at all times
• Oversee equipment maintenance, controlled drug audits and clinical governance
• Support and supervise student nurses throughout their training
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• 1 in 4 branch Saturdays plus 1 in 10 Saturdays at a nearby 24-hour hospital
• 1 bank holiday per year at the hospital site - no other on-call
  
  Salary £35,000-£39,000 depending on experience, with room to grow within the role
• 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays
