Full Job Description

As a band 7 rotational clinical pharmacist, you will be part of the pharmacy clinical ward team to help deliver a high quality specialist service to our patients and the MDT.

We will support in developing your leadership, management and mentoring skills with an opportunity to lead on projects and support others.

Each post has an extended rotation of 1 year with management and project opportunities- including Gastroenterology & Renal medicine, ICU, Acute Admissions, Cardio-pulmonary medicine, Children's and Women's Services, Surgery &Trauma, Care of Elderly, Education and Training.

The Royal Berkshire Pharmacy department is passionate about developing an excellent clinical pharmacy service and is looking for enthusiastic, innovative and self-motivated pharmacists to join our team.

Working in the Royal Berkshire Pharmacy department, you will be given the opportunity to rotate across various specialties, spending enough time to engage with the multidisciplinary clinical team and make a difference., The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest District General Hospitals in the country. The hospital achieved Foundation Trust status on 1st June 2006. It was the first Foundation Trust in the South Central Strategic Health Authority.

The Trust has a successful track record of delivering high quality acute medical and surgical services for 500,000 patients across West Berkshire, an area extending from Newbury in the west to Henley-on-Thames in the east, and including Wokingham and parts of Hampshire to the south and parts of Oxfordshire to the north.
